Screened at the 2011 Skoll World Forum award ceremony, this film is part of the Uncommon Heroes series which highlights the work of Skoll awardees. In the Gambia, Riders for Health are managing reliable vehicles for healthcare delivery so that people don't die from preventable and curable diseases simply because health workers can't get to them.

The Dainese D-Store has generously invited Riders for Health to be the beneficiary of the event featuring MotoGP star Nicky Hayden along with Blackhawk Farms/Motovid.com, Ducati Riders of Illinois, and Christian Motorcyclists Association.

Riders for Health at the International Motorcycle Show

Dimbaya villageIt's going to be a balmy 36 degrees or so this weekend. Come out to see us at the International Motorcycle Show.

We'll have our logo stickers, t-shirts, a flat screen looping a video of our work in Africa, and "Get Involved" cards specifically for motorcyclists and businesses in the industry.

Volunteers needed at the Indianapolis Moto GP!

Please indicate what dat2009 Indianapolis Moto GP victory lapes/times you would like to volunteer to staff the Riders for Health booth at the 2010 Indianapolis MotoGP. Riders for Health featured on BBC!

Riders is the subject of a brand new film presented by financial expert, Alvin Hall. The new series, Alvin's Guide to Good Business, looks at how social enterprise organizations like Riders are helping create sustainable development in Africa.
